Prior to Game 5 of the NLCS, potentially the Dodgers’ final home game of the season, the 88-year-old legend, situated in a suite along the third-base line, was introduced to the crowd. Scully was back in Dodger Stadium three weeks after wrapping up his 67-year broadcast career.

As the fans gave him a loud ovation, he bellowed his famous introduction, “It’s time for Dodger baseball!” The phrase also is spoken by the people who throw out the first pitch before Dodgers home games.
