After a number of dangerous crosses, Vela slid to get on on the end of a teammate Mikel Oyarzabal’s cross to open the scoring for Real Sociedad in the 63rd minute.
The goal is Vela’s second in three matches after he started the season on a goal drought. Vela’s tally proved to be the difference as Sociedad logged a 1-0 victory over Real Betis.
