Jeff Maggert learned that Monday when he was faced with a tricky situation on the par-4 eighth hole during the final round of the U.S. Senior Open.

Despite making contact on the pond shot while seated, Maggert made a double-bogey 6 on the hole. He finished the tournament in a tie for 30th at 8 over after shooting a 5-over 75 in the final round.

Gene Sauers won the tournament at 3 under.
