First, let’s stop to appreciate that Player, the former nine-time major championship winner, is even on Instagram, let alone that he has an active account with more than 50,000 followers. He’s a real-life “Most Interesting Man in the World,” and that includes doing backflips off of boats.

Player was challenged by his grandchildren to attempt a backflip off of a boat, and he came oh-so-close to sticking the landing. Not bad for an 81-year-old.
