Hyndman nets in first Rangers start

The Bayer Leverkusen striker scored his first goal for his club since Oct. 1 with a first-half header against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

The goal from a corner kick gave Leverkusen a 2-0 lead at home against its local rival. It wouldn’t be enough, however, as a stunning second-half comeback gave the away side a 3-2 win.

After a prolific 2015-16 campaign the Mexico international started 2016-17 off strong, but cooled off considerably as fall has turned to winter. Overall, Hernandez now has eight goals in all competitions for Leverkusen, including six in the Bundesliga.
