In the gameplay footage, the player chooses to start the game as the female protagonist and sets out on a series of quests. There’s a chance to see a number of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey cutscenes, the new dialogue option feature, and some stealthy combat.

Here’s a look at the footage…

Odyssey seems to follow the path started by Origins and leans heavily into the new RPG aspects. The character gains experience, abilities, loot, and gear throughout the walkthrough. From the looks of things, fans of Origins will feel right at home in Odyssey.

Once again, Odyssey’s details seem to confirm just about everything that leaked before E3 2018 kicked off. This seems to have been a trend throughout most of the press conferences this year.

Check back throughout the week for a more E3 2018 coverage.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set to release on October 5, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
